The ESL program at University of North Alabama (UNA) provides a challenging, caring, and supportive environment for high quality and comprehensive instruction in English at a reasonable cost and prepares students for success in academic classes. UNA ESL does not offer classes at the beginner level. New students are expected to have basic knowledge of English even when beginning the program in level 1 classes.
