My experience at EF London was great: I could live in London and enjoy all aspects, learn the real English and make friends. I stayed in a host family in Hither Green: before the departure I was a little insecure about staying in another family, in another house, but I changed my mind immediately because I was warmly welcomed by them and they did everything to make me feel comfortable. The school is a very unique environment because it is located in a typical red-brick-houses neighborhood. The environment is cozy and friendly, the lessons are everything but not boring and the activities are great (the activities in London are really good and budget-friendly, the trips outside London are sometimes a little bit expensive). I loved London, enjoying museums, east-side musicals and lectures.

The classes have lots of students. Sometimes I ended up sharing a class with 18 other students where there weren't enough chairs and materials for all of us. The distance between the school and the host families is too far. I think that the price is excessive for the quality of the classes and the infrastructure that they provide.

The only good thing I can say is that I made good friends. The classrooms are small and uncomfortable for the 15 to 18 students that are in each class and you can't participate much because there are too many students. They sell you classes on the computer that you can do from home, I didn't try the accommodation because almost everyone stays in their host family. The price is exorbitant for the service they provide.

I didn't have any problems with anything to be honest, everything was great, I made lots of friends and learned a ton. If you have the opportunity to go here, you definitely should take it.

DON'T sign up with EF It's a crappy organization, lying, expensive, that sells dreams in their catalogs that are a long way from the reality when you get there.

I was in London for two weeks. I was expecting a spectacular vacation and instead I did not do anything but wait impatiently for the day of my return home. Upon arrival at the airport, I waited two hours for them to come get me, not knowing who would come or when. My accommodation was more than an hour from the school because we had to take 3 trains, 1 trams, and walk for 20-25 minutes to get to the station. I had paid for breakfast and dinner at the Host Family, but I always ended up having to buy breakfast and dinner out because there was nothing to eat. Promised activities? I'm sorry, but do not plan to visit London with EF, because you will not see anything at all and the activities are only on flyers !! The only positive things were the friendly and helpful staff and good lessons. If you are considering starting with EF, DO NOT DO IT!
