The school takes pride in being an "academic environment", more similar to a university than an english school. This is just an excuse for being very low-energy and uninteresting. I have studied at several other schools (Kaplan in Chicago, NESE in Boston) and DePaul's ELA does not come close. The method is not effective, the teachers are not clear in their explanations of concepts, and the school administration is a joke. Teacher [name removed by administrator] does not know how to teach grammar and wastes students' time talking about other topics. I would recommend you go somewhere else. If in Chicago, go to Kaplan and you will be a lot happier.
