Albuquerque is a great place, and so is UNM. So, I expected a lot from this class. In the end, I left with an improved level of English, which mostly resulted from talking to natives, but not from the classes. Some of the teachers are great- no offense. But with others, I wondered why they even were hired for this specific position. I was very unsatisfied with my Conversation teacher who was a Thai and had a pronounciation equal or worse to mine. I wonder how people who are less proficient in English can improve in such a class. Another thing that really bothered me was the communication with the managers of the courses. My certificate wasn´t even ready at the time I left. I felt like once they had my money I was just a number for them, a number that doesn´t matter as a person. Recommendable for people who know very little English. But for anyone else I recommend to look for a place that challenges you more than CELAC does.

This is the best place to learn English and to improve your communicative English skills. All the teacher staff and administrative are awesome. I really enjoy the time I spent in UNM! Go Lobos!
