Okay, let me be honest. I'm Indonesian and my mother tongue language is not English (obviously, hehehe...). So I had a plan to learn English in the best method, 'live the language'. Yeah indeed. That's why I chose EF Singapore to be my place where I studied English. At the first day, I came early to the school. Maybe because I was excited. I Met Zoltan Bekesi (The staff who served me in the lobby). You know what, he was really kind. Very friendly to the new students like me. Not only him, I also met Parnella Rayappan (another staff). She was really energetic and cheerful. I love her. So friendly like Zoltan. And after one or two days I also knew the academic staff and of course the principal (director). For me, they were all very awesome! Like I want to hug them if I meet them one day. Hahaha! How about the teachers? I think people have different views for this matter. But as long as I studied there, I met brilliant teachers. I can't say all, but almost every teacher was really friendly and helpful to me. I love Hazel Tan and Leila Scott, both of them not only teach me about English but also about the culture in Singapore (especially) and culture in some other English countries like America and England. Yeah, since Hazel had studied and worked in America for long time, and Leila is native speaker from England. Ahh... I miss them both. EF Singapore have great facilities. I like the iLab and fifth floor lounge!!!! Yeah, I must mention it clearly, fifth floor was like the most convenient place in EF Singapore. You can sit on comfortable sofas in lobby, but in fifth floor they have a 'super comfortable red sofa'. Hahaha... Yeah, I know I exaggerate it. But wait, they also have table tennis, Nintendo WII (But they should add more games) and foosball (table soccer). And those are all in the fifth floor. And you know what, on that floor, you will get the best internet connection ever! (But please don't compare to South Korea). Don't ask me the location! EF Singapore is in the best location. Near to Little India, China Town, or Merlion hohoho (I tell you that this statue always become the first priority of itinerary for Indonesian like me). I stayed in Farrer Park and I can go to school buy bus or MRT. I love the transportation in Singapore. I stayed in Radius Hotel (it was recommended by my EF agent in Indonesia), and I feel so satisfied. The student diversity depends on when we take the course. I studied on September - October and I got new friends mostly from Japan, many from Europe like Germany, French or Spain, and I got friends from Vietnam, Myanmar, Korea, Kazakh and Russian. When I say friends here, not only I knew their name, but also we often mingled and hung out together. I don't know if take the course on other period. Okay now about the value. I think this is about how much I pay the fee compare to the facilities and the programs offered. I give five stars because I felt so satisfied and contented. The course fee (include the accommodation) was not cheap but it was reasonable for the facilities. I think this matter is subjective and depends on people who pay the bill. The last but not least, before I went to Singapore and studied in EF School, I have a big plan for my English lesson and I tell them to the academic staff. They helped me to find the best lesson for my needs. Thank you EF.
